Since, I was 19, I started to grow thick hairs on my chin and on my stomach area. At first, it wasn’t too bad, but as soon as I got older, it got a little overwhelming. I didn’t really mind the hairs on my stomach too much, but I was plucking my chin hairs everyday. I know this is bad, but I really didn’t like feeling the stubble. The chin hairs became thicker and darker. I was almost growing a beard. I had dark spots and acne from the plucking and ingrown hairs. I felt very self conscious, if I didn’t pluck or wear make-up. I got this Zen laser hair remover, right at the beginning of the quarantine. Also, I was somewhat nervous that it wouldn’t work because I have medium dark, tanned skin. It took some patience but little by little, the very thick hairs slowed and stopped growing on my chin. It took maybe 3 months of using at the higher settings, but 90% of the hair on my chin is gone. The same for my stomach and moustache areas. It’s been a year now, and I have been hair-free for that long. With monthly maintenance, none of it has really come back yet. I always keep up with the maintenance once a month. But, I never thought in my life, that I would be hair free on my chin area. I have mostly make-up free days now. It’s really been a dream come true and I am so thankful for this product. I know it’s a investment, but it’s one of the best things I have ever bought. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend it. I bought this laser hair remover for my daughter because of problems with hair growth on her face. she is 31 years old and had this problem since she was a teenager, and started shaving everyday, for years and tried waxing but you have to let the hairs grow out, to do that, which she really hated because it was embarrassing. I am not plucking hairs every night any more! This device is amazing! I’m super light skinned and have very thick black hairs. And unfortunately, hair grows bad on my chin and neck area. It’s embarrassing at times and super noticeable, so I thought I would try this laser hair remover out, instead of plucking my face hair every night before bedtime. I’ve had it for 4 weeks and I noticed a huge difference after week 2. I haven’t had much new growth and I haven’t had to shave or pluck, so I feel very relieved that I don’t have to worry about the hair plucking every day or missing an embarrassing big hair. No more ingrown hairs either! I feel more normal. Because it works so well, I decided to use on my entire body. My bikini line hairs regrowth is very minimal. The other embarrassing thing I’ll admit, is my hair is also very curly and my private area used to get horrible ingrown hairs. I haven’t had a single ingrown hair, since I started using this device. The regrowth hair is now noticeably less and a lot softer and lighter. My arm pits still have quite a bit of growth but much softer and thinner, so it’s definitely progressing. Other parts of my body just need more treatments. I plan to keep going until I see the best results for me, like on my face area. Also, I had no problem anywhere that I can see on myself using it. It sometimes stings a bit, but nothing crazy and many times not at all. I’ve got darker hair and fair skin so it’s been amazing. All the hairs I didn’t want are mostly gone.

This was more expensive than the other units I saw, but I get what I pay for! I highly recommend this laser hair remover! Also, if you’re price comparing with other stores, make sure it’s the same model number. Some of the other ones look similar and may appear less expensive, but they probably the lower quality model.

There are various intensity levels, but at the highest level, it is about 3/4 as strong as at the salon. At that high of a setting for me, the sensation is equivalent to slight popping on my skin. Some areas will be more sensitive than others i.e.; underarms, bikini, middle of my upper lip, etc. Even though it might not be as strong, the results have been better because I can be more careful with my treatment and able to hit all the stages of my hair growth since I am doing it weekly instead of the 4-8 weeks, that the salon makes me wait in between the treatments.

I’m very pleased with the results of my new laser hair remover, my underarm hairs has not grown back yet, and the upper lip area has gone away. After 5 sessions (1x/wk), the few stragglers are all that’s left of the lip area. With my legs, I used to have to shave everyday or else I’d be able to see it from outer-space. I can see some dark hair roots because of the flash, but with this IPL, there’s not even a stubble to see or feel. It’s seems like the hair that does grow in, now grows in at a much slower pace.

I rarely write any reviews but this is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. To preface my review, I have tan Asian skin with stubborn, thick, coarse, very fast growing body hair. I have gotten professional laser hair removal before, 4 sessions on upper lip and 5 sessions underarms about four years ago, and was about to sign up again for 8 sessions when I saw a Google ad for a at-home machine. One click led to another and I ended up going with this device because Zen is a newer brand, and it’s FDA cleared, and had a great return policy in case it did not work. Great results so far, in the time I used it, and still going well for me.

This laser hair remover was a great investment for me but patience is the key here. The light isn’t painful but, if you have very sensitive skin, you may find it a little bit of a stinging f, but it is not painful. In more sensitive areas, you may experience this and it’s normal. Once you get into the routine of using this, you will start to notice more of a drastic change! I have very dark, coarse hair on my legs. If I shave in the morning, I can really feel the stubble coming back in the evening. It isn’t fun to have to shave every day. Because my hair is very coarse, I also have large pores at the bottom half of my legs and don’t find that too attractive for me. But, once I started using this, I could see the hair coming back, much thinner! It has been a miracle! There are many patches on my legs where there is no hair growing in at all! And I don’t mind if this doesn’t get rid of all the hair on my legs at first, but making it lighter and thinner is a miracle, in my book. I don’t feel like I have to shave every day any more! If you have time and patience, I do highly recommend investing in one and giving it a try. For any woman who hates having to shave every day and deal with that ugly embarrassment of thick, dark hair on your legs, this will help you! Just remember to read the instructions and be patient because it is worth it for the results!

I have used different salon treatments, on and off for some years. First thing you need to do is make sure you check the chart to see if this will work work you. It works best on people with dark hairs, brown and black and with light to medium skin. If you have some blonde hair, this can also work for you depending on your skin color. It takes a while before you get used to how to use this device. And it can take about a half hour to do one leg. So make sure that you have enough time to set aside to do both. Once you get used to using this machine, it will become faster and easier for you to use.

The reason for this nice review is because it has worked fantastically everywhere else on my body that I’ve used it on. The first time I used it, I was a little surprised, as each flash felt like a slight sting sensation because, that is what it is, but the sensation fades very quickly, and if you’re like me and your skin isn’t very sensitive, within a couple of minutes it won’t feel like anything happened. You’ll likely smell a little fizzing hair, that’s normal. I used it once a week for a few weeks on, one area which now seems to be permanently smooth, so I’m going to let it go for a little bit and see how long it takes any hair to grow back. I also used it with the same amount of time on, another area and that’s still got a few lingering fuzz hair but it’s definitely down to a small fraction of what used to be there, but at this rate it should only take a couple more treatments before the area is as clean and smooth as the rest of my body areas, that I used it on.

I’ve been doing so for about a month and really notice a difference, but that’s not why I’m giving this thing a review, it’s not supposed to be used the way I used it, so I don’t get to whine about it not working there. With this little laser hair remover I started using it during the COVID pandemic, because I was bored and spending more time at home. A little over one month in and oh my god, what a big difference. I have fairly light (but not Caucasian) skin with pretty dark slightly coarse hair, so I guess I’m an ideal candidate. I was afraid it would be cumbersome and painful, or maybe not very effective. But, I was wrong on all counts! I got through my arms, bikini line and legs in 30 minutes or less. I don’t even count time, because I put on a video while doing it and the time just flies by. I love this laser hair remover!

I really like this laser hair remover but I’m very careful to avoid my moles or birthmarks since I did read about some people who got irritation when going over those areas. And I have a ton of moles on my arms and leg areas, so it’s a little annoying. In one and a half months the hair everywhere has thinned out SO much I now shave my legs like every nine days, which is unheard of for me. I can bare my arms without the feeling of feeling embarrassed by the thicker bristles. I figure even if I have to do this treatment once a month forever to keep the hairs at bay, I’m OK with it. It’s so much better than me spending a fortune on treatments that are not permanent and may leave me even worse off, if I can’t afford to keep doing it indefinitely. This has been the ultimate solution for me and I couldn’t be happier! I’ll use this little laser hair remover forever.
